Richmond Surgery Patient Participation Group

Our Patient Participation Group is made up of patients registered with the surgery.  You can read more about our individual members by clicking here.  They meet one evening every 6 - 8 weeks with the Doctors, the Practice Manager and occasionally other members of our staff to discuss matters of mutual interest, new systems, services and proposed improvements at the surgery together with patient feedback/requests.  Their involvement is crucial to our patient population care and as patient representatives, many decisions involving your care are made following discussion with them.  So, if you would like to be more involved with the surgery and your care, the PPG are always keen to speak to potential new members.

You can also assist the PPG Group by joining our Virtual Patient Representative Group by simply providing your email address - download a form here, or pick one up from Reception.   We will contact you via email periodically with both brief questionnaires or an invitation to participate in our annual Surgery Survey.   We currently have over 7500 patient email addresses.

North East Hampshire and Farnham (NEHF) Area Patient Group

This Area Patient Group represents 23 practices in the area covered by the North East Hampshire and Farnham Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG).

The APG’s remit is to represent the views and needs of our patients to the CCG. It does this by electing a representative to sit on the CCG and inviting the CCG to the group’s meetings. This provides a two-way channel, giving patients a voice to ensure their healthcare needs are reflected in the commissioning of care by the CCG. It also explains the decisions and viewpoint of the CCG to patients.

The NEHF APG also seeks to promote good health and higher levels of health literacy in the area, especially through preventive medicine.
