Repeat Prescriptions

If your GP agrees you may obtain repeat prescriptions for long term medication.

Online Repeat Prescriptions - Register for our EMIS Online Systems to order your Repeat Prescriptions.

Alternatively, GP approved repeats can be by written request using a repeat prescription form available at reception or by email using the following email address:

nehccg.richmondsurgery-scripts@nhs.net  We do NOT accept requests over the telephone.

If you a newly registered patient, please note that we must have evidence of regular medication if you are requesting this for the first time as a new patient.  Unfortunately, patient medical records can take up to 3 months to arrive and then need to be summarised to our clinical system.  Evidence of repeat medication can take the form of last repeat prescription, written confirmation from your previous surgery or medication packaging with your name and dosage label attached.

Please allow a minimum of THREE full working days for all methods of request to be fulfilled.  The surgery can process in excess of 500 prescriptions every day.
